- Carries deoxygenated blood from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs. It divides into right and left pulmonary arteries before entering the lungs.
Pulmonary Veins
- Carry oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart. Four pulmonary veins, two from each lung, converge to form the left atrium.
Bronchus
- The primary airway that enters the lung during development and gives rise to smaller airways called bronchioles. Each lung receives one bronchus.
Bronchial Arteries
- Provide systemic blood supply to the lung tissues, such as the airways, blood vessels, and lymphatics.
Bronchial Veins
- Drain deoxygenated blood from the lung tissues into the pulmonary veins.
