The southern bluebird (Sialia sialis) is found in the eastern United States, from Florida to Maine, and west to Texas and Oklahoma. It is also found in parts of Mexico and Central America.
Arizona is located in the southwestern United States and is home to a different species of bluebird, the western bluebird (Sialia mexicana). The western bluebird is found in the western United States, from Alaska to California, and east to Colorado and New Mexico.
