Is a hawk plant or meat eater?
Hawk plants are carnivorous plants that obtain nutrients from insects and other small animals that are trapped by their specialized leaves. These leaves are modified into a type of leaf called a "pitfall trap" that consists of a deep hollow cavity filled with digestive fluids. When an insect or small animal falls into the trap, it is unable to escape and is slowly digested by the enzymes and bacteria present in the fluids.
