Can parrots live in cold weather?
Most parrots are tropical birds and cannot tolerate cold weather. They require a warm climate with temperatures between 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Some parrots, such as the Patagonian conure and the monk parakeet, are more cold-hardy and can tolerate temperatures down to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. However, these parrots should still be kept in a warm environment and protected from drafts and cold weather.
