Can a bird trapped in the wall of your house ever leave on its own?

A bird that has become trapped in the wall of a house is highly unlikely to be able to escape on its own. Birds generally need open space to fly, and walls present an insurmountable barrier. Additionally, birds are not able to dig or chew through materials such as wood or brick that they may encounter in a wall. Without human intervention, the bird would likely remain trapped inside the wall indefinitely and possibly starve or die from exposure.
