Where are bar headed goose found?

Bar-headed geese (Anser indicus) are found in high-altitude regions of Central and South Asia. Their breeding range extends from Ladakh in India to Tibet, Mongolia, and the Altai Mountains. They spend winters in the Indian subcontinent, primarily in India. Some populations also migrate to Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and northern Thailand. The bar-headed goose is known for its unique ability to fly over the Himalayas during its migration, reaching altitudes of up to 8,000 meters (26,000 feet). These birds usually follow river valleys and mountain passes during their migratory journeys.
