How much space do quail need in an aviary?

Quail require a minimum of 1 square foot of floor space per bird in an aviary. However, the more space you can give them, the happier and healthier they will be. A quail aviary should be at least 4 feet long, 3 feet wide, and 3 feet high for a small group of birds. If you plan to keep a larger flock of quail, you will need to provide them with more space.

Here are some tips for setting up a quail aviary:

* Choose a location that is sheltered from the wind and rain.

* Provide plenty of perches for the birds to roost on.

* Place a layer of sand or gravel on the floor of the aviary to help keep the birds clean and dry.

* Provide the birds with a variety of food and water.

* Quail are social birds and do best when kept in pairs or groups.
