Homemade Parakeet Nesting Boxes

A budgerigar, more frequently called a parakeet in the United States, is a common pet bird that resembles a small parrot. Parakeets come in colors ranging from pure white to yellow and green or blue. These little birds can even learn to talk. Breeding parakeets is a relatively simple task with a mated pair and the proper conditions. This includes having a nesting box available for the birds to raise their young. With the right tools and materials, you can build a nesting box in about an hour.
