What does the snow leapard diet consist?

Snow leopards are carnivorous and their primary prey are ibex, bharal and markhor. They are opportunistic predators and feed on a variety of mammals including wild boar, Himalayan tahr, marmots, pikas, hares, and mountain sheep. They also hunt livestock and have been known to kill domestic dogs and poultry. Snow leopards typically hunt at night, using their excellent eyesight and hearing to locate their prey. They ambush their prey by stalking it and then pouncing on it or chasing it down. Snow leopards are powerful animals and can kill prey that is much larger than themselves. They typically consume all of their prey, including the bones and fur. Snow leopards are able to survive in extremely harsh conditions and can go for long periods of time without food or water.
