How to Roast Soybeans for Poultry

How you roast soybeans depends on what kind of poultry you have and how many. Soybeans are an important source of protein in many animal feeds. Roasting soybeans before feeding them to your stock kills mold and other contaminants and makes the beans easier to digest. Large scale poultry farms, as well as cattle ranches and hog farms, usually use commercial soybean roasters. Dilts-Wetzel Manufacturing in Michigan, Midwest Grain Roasters in Wisconsin, Barnyard Organics in Canada and Schnupp's Grain Roasting in Pennsylvania all sell roasters for farmers and ranchers who need to roast soybeans by the ton. People with just a few chickens may follow a simpler and cheaper path.
