Instructions
Making a pine-cone bird feeder
Decide where you want to make your bird feeders. Place newspaper over the area to make for easy clean-up later.
Cut your yarn or piece of string using the scissors. You can cut the string to whatever length you want the bird feeder to hang below a tree branch. Tie the string firmly to the top of the pine cone.
Using the butter knife, spread the peanut butter over the pine cone. The more peanut butter you use, the more seeds will stick to the pine cone.
Place the birdseed into the pie plate. Roll the pine cone in the pie plate so that the birdseed sticks to the peanut butter. If you run out of seeds, you may place more into the pie plate and continue.
Hang the bird feeder outside on a tree branch. Be sure to tie the string tight so that it does not fall when birds land on it.
