Things You'll Need
- Large cookie cutter of any shape
- Stale bread
- Peanut butter
- Knife
- Birdseed
- String
- Plastic drinking straw
- Scissors
Instructions
Use the cookie cutter to cut out a shape from the stale bread. Repeat until you have the amount of cookies you want to make.
Use the knife to spread peanut butter onto the cut-out shapes.
Sprinkle the birdseed over the peanut butter-covered cookies until well coated.
Pick up the cookies one by one and shake them off to let any loose birdseed fall off.
With a straw, make a hole at the top of each of the cookies.
Put the cookies on a cookie sheet and let them dry overnight so they become hard.
Once the cookies are dry, cut off a piece of the string with the scissors. Pull the string through the hole of the cookie and secure it with a knot. Repeat and do the same with the other cookies.
The edible cookies are now ready to be hung outside to be enjoyed by those feathered friends.
