Instructions
Feed them cracked corn. You can find cracked corn in feed stores, and it's fairly cheap in bulk amounts.
Give them wheat, oak and barley. Like cracked corn, you can find these in feed stores.
Purchase wild bird food. While wheat, oak, barley and cracked corn are your best choices, wild food, if it contains wheat and corn, is acceptable.
Place the grain or cracked corn in sections about 10 to 15 feet apart to prevent the geese from fighting. You can also spread it out over a section of ground. Try to avoid giving them a large pile of food, as they'll fight over it.
Feed the geese in opens areas, away from pedestrian foot traffic. Try to avoid feeding geese on paths or in areas with lots of people. Not everyone likes geese, and geese shouldn't be encouraged to hang out on paths waiting for handouts.
Place buckets of food in buckets of water, if you're raising geese, to prevent other animals from getting to it.
