What do peregrine falcons eat?

Peregrine falcons are apex predators that primarily hunt and feed on medium-sized birds. Their diet consists mainly of pigeons, doves, ducks, shorebirds, and songbirds. They typically target birds in the 300 to 1,200-gram weight range. Peregrine falcons have exceptional aerial hunting skills and are known for their "stooping" behavior.
