Can dove eggs be left out the nest and still hatch?

Dove eggs cannot be left outside of the nest and still hatch. In order to hatch, dove eggs need to be properly incubated by the mother dove. She provides the necessary warmth and humidity for the eggs to develop properly. Additionally, the mother dove turns the eggs regularly to prevent them from sticking to the nest and to ensure that all sides of the eggs are exposed to the heat and humidity. Leaving the eggs out of the nest will cause them to cool and dry out, preventing them from hatching.
