What adaptation does a hawk use to chew food?

A hawk does not have any adaptation to chew food.

Hawks have a sharp, hooked beak and powerful talons that they use to tear food into small pieces. Once the food is in their mouth, they use their tongue and a set of bony projections called tomia to further break down the food. They swallow their food whole and use the hydrochloric acid in their stomach to digest it.
