Can birds move their eggs to another location?

Birds cannot physically move their eggs. Their reproductive process consists of laying eggs in a purposefully built nest, where the eggs remain during the incubation period until hatching. However, some bird species engage in brood parasitism, such as cuckoos, which lay their eggs in other birds' nests for incubation and rearing by the unwitting host.
