How doe a peacock feed its young?

Peacocks don't feed their young. The baby peacocks are called peachicks, after they hatch from the eggs, the mother peacock leaves the nest and the chicks stay in the nest for about 1 to 2 weeks until they are strong enough to leave the nest. The father peacock guards the nest during this time. Peachicks are able to forage on their own after they leave the nest. Their diet consists of insects and other small animals. They are also able to drink water on their own.
