How can i convince my parents to buy me a parakeet. they say are noisy and smelly. told them be quiet not smell but keep saying no.plz help me?

Here are some steps you can take to convince your parents to buy you a parakeet:

Do your research. Learn everything you can about parakeets. This includes their behavior, lifespan, diet, grooming needs, and common health problems. You should also be able to answer your parents' questions about parakeets confidently.

Find a reputable breeder. It's important to buy a parakeet from a reputable breeder because these birds can carry diseases. Ask for references from other parakeet owners and check online reviews before purchasing.

Offer to pay for some or all of the expenses. Show your parents how much you are willing to take care of your parakeet by offering to pay for some or all of the expenses involved. This may include food, supplies, vet bills, and other costs.

Be responsible and demonstrate your maturity. Demonstrate that you are a responsible and capable person who can be trusted to take care of a pet. Show your parents that you can do things like take out the trash, clean your room, and do your homework without being reminded.

Talk to your parents about your reasons for wanting a parakeet. Explain to your parents how much you want a parakeet and why. Tell them how you think a parakeet would add joy and laughter to the family.

Emphasise the pros. Stress that parakeets can actually be a great pet as they dont take so much work. Parakeets can:

- Be easy to take care of as they mainly feed only on seeds

- Keep you company

- They can provide entertainment as they enjoy playing and exploring

If your parents still dont agree to get you a parrott offer alternatives pets they may consider which include:

- Hamster

- Tortoise

- Guinea pig

- Rabbit

- Aquarium tank (contains small fishes)
