How to Care for Your Rosy Pink Parakeet

The Rosy Pink Parakeet, or Bourke's Parakeet, is the only member of the neophema family without green feathers, and they come in various shades from dark to pale pink. This bird is considered a sedentary bird. They are active at dawn and dusk and remain quiet and affectionate the remainder of the day. They are easily cared for and make great pets for the less experienced bird owner. They are also readily available and inexpensive. Rosy Pink Parakeet gets along well with other species of birds as well. They can be kept with house finches and cockatiels.
