How to Make Cockatiel Treats

Cockatiels love sweet food, seeds, fruits and vegetables. You can use a mixture of some of the food you normally eat to create squares or balls that your bird is sure to peck at. When making treats for your cockatiel, it is important to not give them potentially fatal ingredients such as avocado, chocolate or alcohol. In addition to serving it seeds, you should include fruits and vegetables in its diet every day.
