Place a substrate that is easily cleaned like corn cob in the bottom of your bird cage.

    • 3

Keep the cage in an area that has a relatively stable temperature. Avoid drafts and direct sunlight when you place the cage.

    • 4

Add several perches and chew toys to the cage. Play gyms and other toys are good to entertain your bird when you are away.

    • 5

Feed your conure a mixture of fortified seed, commercial pellets and fresh fruits and veggies. You can also feed spray millet as a treat to your conure.

    • 6

Provide access to fresh clean non-chlorinated water at all times.

    • 7

Change the substrate daily as well as the water and food. Clean the entire cage along with all bowls perches and toys once a month with a dilute bleach mix.
