* Cats: Cats are natural predators of birds and can easily kill a pet parrot. Keep your parrot's cage in a room where cats are not allowed and be careful when letting your parrot out of its cage.
* Dogs: Some dogs are also predators of birds and can be dangerous to pet parrots. Even dogs that are not normally aggressive towards birds can still cause injury or death if they come into contact with a parrot. Keep your parrot's cage away from dogs and be sure to supervise any interactions between your parrot and a dog.
* Other birds: Some birds of prey, such as hawks and falcons, can also kill pet parrots. If you live in an area where there are birds of prey, be sure to keep your parrot's cage covered when it is outdoors.
