Do owls have good or bad eyesight?
Owls have excellent eyesight, which is one of their most distinctive features. Their eyes are specially adapted for hunting in low light conditions, and they can see up to 100 times better than humans in the dark. Owls have large, forward-facing eyes that give them a wide field of vision, and their retinas are packed with more light-sensitive cells than human retinas. This allows them to see small details and movements even in very dark environments. In addition to their excellent night vision, owls also have good colour vision during the day.
