Do bald eagles leave their parents?

Yes, bald eagles eventually leave their parents. After about two months of age, eaglets begin to explore outside their nest. By the time they are three or four months old, they are able to fly short distances. They gradually increase the distance of their flights until they are able to fly on their own. At around six months of age, bald eagles leave the nest and begin to live independently.
