Do owls live in the desert?
Some species of owls do live in deserts. For example, the Elf Owl (Micrathene whitneyi) is well adapted to desert life. It consumes primarily insects and can withstand high temperatures. The Western Screech-Owl (Megascops kennicottii) and other species are also known to inhabit desert areas, demonstrating the adaptability of certain owls to diverse environments.
