How long for pigeon to have babies?
Pigeons usually take around 18 days to hatch their eggs. The female pigeon lays two eggs at a time. Both the male and female pigeon take turns to sit on the eggs to keep them warm. Once the eggs have hatched, the baby pigeons, known as "squabs", are fed pigeon milk by their parents for the first few days. Then the parents slowly start to feed them regurgitated food such as seeds and grains. The baby pigeons usually fledge, or leave the nest, after about 30 days.
