How big is a goose egg?
A goose egg is generally larger than a chicken egg. Its dimensions can vary based on the species of goose but typically measure around 8-10 cm (3.1-3.9 inches) in length and about 5-6 cm (2-2.4 inches) in width. Goose eggs also tend to weigh more than chicken eggs, usually ranging from 130 to 190 grams (4.6 to 6.7 ounces). Some of the larger goose species, such as the Greylag goose or the Canada goose, may produce even bigger eggs than these average measurements.
