Do owls see better at daytime?
Owls can see quite well during daytime, but their eyesight is designed for low-light conditions. Owls have highly sensitive retinas that help them see in dim lighting conditions, and their large pupils allow them to capture more light. They also possess a special layer of tissue called the tapetum lucidum, that helps to reflect light and enhance their vision in the dark. While they can still see during daytime, their vision may not be as sharp as it is at night.
