How old is the world oldest eclectus parrot?
Eclectus parrots are long-lived birds, with an average lifespan of around 30-40 years in the wild. However, some individuals have been known to live much longer. The oldest recorded eclectus parrot was a female named "Cookie", who lived at the San Diego Wild Animal Park in California, USA. Cookie was hatched in captivity in 1958 and died in 2016 at the age of 58 years.
