Why barn owls fly?

Barn owls fly in order to hunt for prey. They are nocturnal hunters, meaning that they hunt at night, and their excellent eyesight and hearing allow them to locate their prey in the dark. Barn owls have long, pointed wings that allow them to fly silently, which helps them to surprise their prey. They also have a keen sense of hearing that allows them to locate their prey by sound, even in complete darkness.
