One significant climax in the story comes when he confronts the giant serpent who guards the enchanted tree where the Adarna bird sings its life-giving songs. Despite the serpent's daunting size and its terrifying presence, Juan remains brave and resourceful. Employing cleverness and strategic thinking, he outwits the serpent and successfully takes possession of the magical bird. After capturing the Adarna bird, Juan begins its long journey back home, but the tale reaches its next apex when his envious brothers attempts to harm and replace him.
