Where do sparrows go during the winter?

Many species of sparrows migrate south during the winter to warmer climates. Others will stay in their current location and adapt to the colder conditions by finding food and shelter. Sparrows will often move to areas with more abundant food sources, such as bird feeders or fields with plenty of seeds and insects. They will also seek shelter in trees, bushes, or other protected areas to escape the cold and wind.
