What is the home of ducks?

Ducks make their homes in a variety of locations, including wetlands, marshes, ponds, lakes, rivers, and even oceans. Different duck species prefer different habitats, but they all typically require access to water for swimming, feeding, and nesting. Some ducks, such as mallards and wood ducks, live in freshwater habitats, while others, such as sea ducks and scoters, live in saltwater habitats. Many duck species are migratory, meaning that they travel long distances between their breeding grounds and their wintering grounds. For example, the American black duck breeds in Canada and the northern United States and winters in the southeastern United States, Mexico, and Central America.
