An eagle's vision is incredibly sharp, but it cannot see an ant while flying. Eagle eyes have a visual acuity of about 20/5, meaning that they can see an object at 20 feet away with the same clarity as a human with normal vision can see an object at 5 feet away. However, the angle of view of an eagle's binocular vision is only about 120 degrees, and its peripheral vision is limited. Ants are too small and move too quickly for an eagle to focus on them while flying.
