What is the trophic level of an aye-aye?

Aye-aye are omnivores, meaning that they feed on both plants and animals. They are categorized as tertiary consumers, as aye-aye consume a variety of plant materials (fruits and seeds), as well as insects, larvae and other small animals.

Aye-aye are arboreal nocturnal species, adapted for climbing and foraging in the trees. They are known to use specialized fingers to detect their insect larvae prey in wooden chambers inside trees by tapping on the surfaces.
