What are all of the types collies?

There are two main types of collies:

Rough Collie: This is the classic Collie breed known for its long, flowing coat. It's often associated with Lassie and is known for its intelligence, herding instincts, and loyalty.

Smooth Collie: This breed is very similar to the Rough Collie, but with a shorter, smooth coat. It's less common than the Rough Collie but equally intelligent, loyal, and affectionate.

Other Collie-related breeds:

* Border Collie: While not technically a Collie, it's closely related and is known for its exceptional intelligence, herding abilities, and stamina.

* Australian Shepherd: Another herding breed, the Australian Shepherd is known for its intelligence, agility, and strong work ethic.

* Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie): Smaller than a Collie, the Sheltie is known for its fox-like head and a double coat of fur. It's a loyal, intelligent, and energetic breed.

Note: Some people use the term "Collie" to refer to any of the herding breeds listed above, even though they are distinct breeds. It's important to clarify which specific breed you are referring to when discussing them.
