What are three types of species?

1. Endangered species are species that are at risk of extinction. This means that there are so few of them left that they could easily disappear if their environment changes or if they are hunted or killed.

2. Threatened species are species that are not yet endangered, but are still at risk of becoming so. This means that their numbers are declining and that they could become endangered if their environment changes or if they are hunted or killed.

3. Vulnerable species are species that are not yet threatened, but could become so if their environment changes or if they are hunted or killed.
