What is an ivory gull?
Ivory gull is a rare type of bird species native to Arctic regions within Eurasia, specifically North-Eastern Greenland and Russia. Known scientifically as "Pagophila eburnea," they belong to the Laridae family. These gulls stand out with their distinctively all-white plumage and dark eyes. Ivory gulls are medium-sized seabirds and generally migrate south during harsh winter periods. However, their population is small and is listed as endangered due to loss of habitat and disturbance.
