Where does the black swan live?
Black swans are native to Australia. They are found primarily in the southern and south-eastern parts of the country, including Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, and Tasmania. They inhabit various wetlands such as lakes, rivers, swamps, and estuaries. These areas provide them with suitable habitats for nesting, feeding, and breeding. Black swans have also been introduced to other parts of the world, including New Zealand, Europe, and North America, but these introduced populations are relatively small compared to the Australian population.
