Where are most species of Parrots found?

Most species of parrots are found in tropical and subtropical regions of the world, with a few species also occurring in temperate regions. The greatest diversity of parrots is found in the Americas, where there are over 350 species, followed by the Australasian region, where there are over 200 species. Parrots are also found in Africa, Madagascar, and Southeast Asia.
