Do doves use the same nest for succeeding broods?

Doves may reuse their nests for multiple broods during a single breeding season, but they do not typically use the same nest from year to year. A dove's nest is a relatively simple structure, usually made from twigs and other vegetation. It is constructed by both the male and female dove and is typically placed in a tree, bush, or other sheltered area. Doves typically lay two or three eggs per brood, and the incubation period is about two weeks. After hatching, the chicks are fed by both parents and fledge from the nest after about three weeks. Doves may raise several broods per year, depending on the species and the climate.
