Are there any birds that travel with Canadian Geese?
Snow buntings (Plectrophenax nivalis) and Lapland longspurs (Calcarius lapponicus) often mix with flocks of geese while migrating. Snow buntings and Lapland longspurs breed in the Canadian arctic and northern Alaska and migrate south and east into central and eastern North America for the winter. The flocks of Lapland longspurs migrating south in the western North America tend to travel with flocks of Horned Larks (Eremophila alpestris)
