Catcraft Cat Tree Three Tier Assembly Instructions

Catcraft three tier cat trees require assembly before your cats can use them. These cat trees, once put together, offer plenty of places for climbing and scratching so your cats don't scratch the furniture or long to go outside and climb a real tree. Fortunately, they are fairly easy to assemble.
  1. How to Assemble

    • The Catcraft three-tiered tree comes out of the box in pieces. It is best to spread all the pieces out on a flat surface before you begin so that you can make sure all the pieces are there and can access them easily.
You may want to close your cats into another room until the tree is assembled so they don't mess with the pieces or tip the tree over before it is fully assembled.
You should have four carpeted poles, four carpeted platforms, two plastic extension poles and a bottom base with a bolt. Start assembling the tree from the bottom. Screw a pole piece into the bottom base, then attach one of the platforms. Repeat this process until the poles and platforms are together.
Next, assemble the pole extension. The two plastic pieces need to be screwed into a round connector piece. One end of the pole extension has a rubber stopper; this is the top end.
Once the pole extension is assembled, push it down into the pole and let it go. The rubber stopper will attach to the ceiling to keep the cat tree in place. If the tree is too tall for your ceilings, remove one of the platforms to shorten it. Once the rubber stopper is in place, the tree is ready for your cats to use.
