Instructions
Check the coat's color. Most Havana Brown kittens are entirely brown, including their whiskers. A few have hints of temporary coloring that fades over time. The shade of brown is frequently described as a reddish chocolate brown.
Feel the coat. The fur tends to be very smooth, thick and close-lying.
Hold the cat. Havana Browns have a dense body structure and are muscular.
Examine the face. The head should be longer than it is wide. The nose has a ridge by the eyes. The eyes tend to be large and oval shaped. The ears frequently tilt forward, and the muzzle tends to be rounded with a square chin.
Pay close attention to the weight of your Havana Brown cat. The dense body can make it more difficult to recognize weight change.
How to Identify a Havana Brown Cat
The Havana Brown cat is a human-engineered breed. People designed these types of cats with the goal of a completely brown-colored cat in mind, since brown is such a rare color for felines to have. Known as playful medium-sized cats, Havana Browns are people-oriented and very gentle.
