When do baby ravens hatch?
Ravens lay between three to seven blue-green blotched or streaked eggs in April or May. The parents incubate the eggs for about 18-21 days. The eggs are incubated by both the male and female, with the female taking longer shifts. The nestlings are born altricial, meaning that they are completely dependent on their parents for survival. They are fed by both the male and female, and fledge (leave the nest) about 6-8 weeks after they hatch.
