Will Coturnix Quail hatch their own eggs?

Coturnix Quail are not great parents and will often eat their own eggs. It's generally best to collect their eggs and put them in an incubator to hatch. Some people can have success raising their own quail offspring by introducing quail chicks into their flock that are the same age as the native chicks, but sometimes this can be dangerous for chicks as a quail has a sharp beak and could potentially harm chicks.
