Instructions
Check the expiration date on the package before you open it. If the package has expired, return it promptly as the ingredients will not work effectively.
Open the box and remove the applicator.
Snap off the applicator tip by first holding the applicator in an upright position. Then using your thumb and index finger, pull the tip of the applicator downward facing away from your face and body. This prevents the tip from flying toward you once it's removed.
Hold your cat firmly yet gently in your lap. Apply the applicator tip to the skin beneath the fur directly between your cat's shoulder blades near the back of your cat's neck.
Apply the entire contents of the applicator directly to your cat's skin in that one area. One applicator treatment once a month is needed. Each package contains three applicators that prevent and treat parasites on your cat for up to six weeks per treatment. Check with your veterinarian concerning continued usage and its safety for your pet.
How to Use Frontline for Lice on Cats
Frontline Plus is ideal for the removal of not only lice but also ticks, fleas and flea larvae. This product is safe enough to use on adult cats and kittens up to eight weeks old. Always consult with your veterinarian before administering any form of topical medication to your cat that might interfere with its current medical condition and cause an adverse reaction. Frontline Plus is absorbed through your pet's skin and generates through skin oils and hair follicles to treat the lice, fleas or ticks that have infected your pet. Chewing lice are fairly uncommon on cats but treatment is available through Frontline Plus.
