Lethargy can be an indication that your cat is feeling sick.

Watch your cat's activity level. Cats have been known to be champion nappers, but if your cat is abnormally lethargic, it may be dehydrated.

Surprisingly, a cat's eyes can tell a lot about how it is feeling.

Look at your cat's eyes. If the eyes appear to be sunken in, this may be another indication of dehydration.

When checking the skin for dehydration, it is extremely important to be gentle and to avoid causing the cat any discomfort or pain.

Pull a section of skin between the shoulder blades or near the neck gently upward. The skin should immediately fall back into place. If the skin remains raised, this may indicate an absence of fluid in the cat's skin, meaning the cat is dehydrated.
