Instructions

    • 1

Weigh your cat. This is important, because dosage is based upon the animal's weight. Do so by holding the cat and stepping on a scale. Then put the cat down and weigh yourself. Subtract your weight from what you and the cat combined weighed to get the cat's weight.

    • 2

Remove the needle from a syringe.

    • 3

Fill the syringe with Advantage for dogs. This is easily accomplished by opening the pippin on the back end, inserting the syringe (where the needle was) and pulling the Advantage into the syringe with the plunger.

    • 4

Mark the syringe with tape at .4 ml. intervals. This makes the measurements easy to read and the treatment easier to administer, as a cat up to 9 lbs. takes .4 ml. Cats more than 9 pounds require .8 ml.

    • 5

Apply the Advantage to the cat according to weight by parting the hair at the base of its skull and administering the treatment directly onto the animal's skin.

    • 6

Store excess Advantage in a cool, dry place for future use.
